CFF Dec. Auction -Steelhead on the Clack!

CFF will be auctioning off 1 seat on a full day Jet Sled Steelhead trip on the Clackamas River guided by Rob Crandall’s Watertime Outfitters.  This full day trip (detailed description follows) must be taken during March or April of 2017.  The winner will be joined by the winner of the raffle held at our December CFF meeting.

“With perfect water for the swung fly, chrome fish arriving daily and a mountain view the Clack is the perfect choice for the spey rod angler. Variety and options abound on the Clackamas. With the speed and versatility of the jet boat we can cover many different sections of the river often without other anglers; during low water times the drift boat comes in handy.

Guided jet boat trips cover the best waters of the river, timing our fishing locations to optimize our results. Full day trips may cover many miles or just a few depending on where the fish are; the mobility of the jet boats helps us “stay in the fish”. Hot riverside meals are served with your full day of fishing with the jet boat.

Trip includes guided jet boat trip, hot lunch, guide-favorite flies, equipment as needed, soft drinks and water. 1 or 2 persons, $575″ 

You are bidding for one 1 (one) seat on a full day trip, date to be negotiated with the raffle winner and WTO.

May 17 Swap Meet

The focus of our May 17 meeting is a Swap Meet.
We all have rods, reels, fly boxes, tools, etc. that we no longer use or need that we might be willing to trade, sell, or just give away. Someone else in the club might be on the lookout for one of those very items.
For example, the club has accumulated a variety of rod tubes over the years. I will bring those to give away.
I also inherited a light weight set of mens’ waders and wading boots and a set of ladies’ hip waders and boots from my in-laws. Perfectly good, but wrong size for us.

You might have an old rod or reel that someone might want for a grandchild. Bring ’em!
Maybe you have an old vest or rain jacket that just doesn’t fit well anymore. Bring it!
Perhaps you don’t tie flies anymore but still have some equipment or supplies. Bring ’em!
You probably upgraded something recently and don’t know what to do with your old stuff. Bring it!

We will swap, dicker, barter, buy, and sell. I hope to have time for members to share stories, memories, and tall tales about their fishing experiences. It should be a fun evening and might be the perfect time to bring along a family member or two. See you on May 17.

May Auction -SHADow Warriors

Time for something a little different.
CFF is offering 2 seats on a half day SHAD fishing trip on the Willamette River sponsored by Rob Crandall of Watertime Outfitters. This trip will be in June.
One seat will be raffled off at the May 17 CFF club meeting.
The other seat is up for auction. You will be bidding on one seat on a half day (4 hour) shad fishing trip on the Willamette River (date to be determined). This trip is valued at $325.

CFF Shad Trip Auction

CFF is offering an auction for a seat on a 4 hour Shad expedition on the Willamette River with local all-star guide Rob Crandall of Watertime Outfitters.  This trip could be either a morning or afternoon trip in June.  In addition, we will be raffling off the other seat at the May 17 CFF meeting.
