Meetings are held at the High Rocks Pub and Restaurant which is
located in Gladstone. Our meetings are scheduled for the 3rd
Tuesday of every month from September - June. Meetings start at
7:00 PM and end by 9:00 PM. Members usually show up between 6 and
7, have something to eat and drink, and take advantage of the time to
socialize before the meeting starts. We hold our meetings in a
private meeting room and all ages of flyfishers are welcome to
attend.
The meeting starts with a discussion about club business and
events and then moves on to story telling time (fish stories that
is). It's a great time to tell that favorite fish story and to learn
about where others have been fishing, what's been working, and what
hasn't. We then hear from our guest speaker, who is more often
than not one of the premier flyfishers in the Northwest and an
authority on steelhead, trout, or a specific area, or river. The
meeting concludes with several raffle drawings for things such as
flies, books, tacke, and even guided float trips.
Directions

The High Rocks Pub and Resturant is located at 915 E Arlington St
Gladstone, OR. For a detailed map and driving directions click on
the map icon above.
If it's your first meeting just find your way to the meeting room
(it's easy), find a seat, and introduce yourself to some of the other
members. To help you get to know everyone, and for us to get to
know you, we do informal indroductions of new members and
guests at the begining of the meeting. |
